CERES

Ceres is the first of the newly classified dwarf planets. It is the largest object in the Asteroid Belt, a collection of small objects, orbiting between Mars and Jupiter.

Its small size makes it difficult to detect features on the surface. Photos taken by the Hubble telescope and the Keck telescope are unable to show any features.
